Future Plays Both Bey and Jay in ‘Drunk in Love’ Cover

Future 'Drunk in Love' Cover Stream Beyonce Jay Z

Beyoncé’s surprise fifth album is full of outstanding moments, but her Jay Z team-up “Drunk in Love” has been in the spotlight of late — literally, as the opening number to the 56th Annual Grammys, and otherwise, as “surfboard” references crowd Twitter feeds and inspired artists record cover versions. Yesterday we shared Angel Haze’s rapping-ass version, and now we’ve got a swaggeringly sung take by Auto-Tuned Atlanta MC Future. The rap portion feels a little phoned-in, but is arguably still an improvement over Hova’s Warhol-desecrating verse. Still no word as to when the Honest album is going to arrive, but the most recent original songs we’ve heard from Future include “Regular Party” and “Maison Margiela.”
