Yeasayer’s Chris Keating Scores Freaky Interactive Fashion Show

Yeasayer Chris Keating Interactive Fashion Show

Yeasayer co-leader Chris Keating has provided a freaky score to an even odder interactive fashion show. The surreality-loving Internet aesthetes at Radical Friend created the visuals, which range from Web 2.0 hellscapes featuring marching geometric armies to hypercolor topographical maps to a room where cartoon sheep graze on vertical grass walls. Models sport outfits by a trio of London designers — Claire Barrow, Ashley Williams, and Ryan Lo — and users can modify their movements with a mouse-click. Meanwhile, as the scenery changes, so does the music. Keating’s created a handful of loops that run the gamut from Knife-like warped dance to clanging Death Grips-y noise. The whole thing comes courtesy of i-D, the 34-year-old fashion magazine recently acquired by Vice. Mess with it here.
