Run the Jewels Wreck the Halls With ‘A Christmas F—king Miracle’ Video

Run the Jewels, "A Christmas Fucking Miracle," video, El-P, Killer Mike

Run the Jewels’ debut album — one of SPIN’s Best Hip-Hop Albums of 2013 — has already spawned a handful of hard-hitting videos, most recently documenting El-P and Killer Mike’s tour for “Get It” and showing off flashy cars for Big Boi-assisted “Banana Clipper.” The rappers have a second album in the works for 2014, and of course they wouldn’t let the holiday season pass without a video for Run the Jewels‘ blunt-talking “A Christmas F—king Miracle.”

Directed by Joey Garfield, it’s a minor miracle in itself, offering Run the Jewels’ takes on A Christmas Carol, posed Christmas-card photos, and the whole mall-Santa situation. Mr. Killums, the rodent puppet from the video for impossibly punctuated “36” Chain,” turns up in a Nativity scene. Joy to the world, especially Europe, which receives a remix-stuffed Run the Jewels release on January 13 via Ninja Tune’s overseas rap imprint Big Dada. Plenty of time to start writing those thank-you notes.
