Beyonce Is a Goddess in Drake-Assisted ‘Mine’ Video

Beyonce Drake 'Mine' Video Self-Titled

Beyoncé’s Beyoncé just formally became the nation’s No. 1 album, and it broke a whole bunch of records to get there (also: No Target). As you likely know by now, her fifth LP not only arrived as a surprise, it came with 17 beautifully shot music videos. On Monday, Queen Bey shared two of those in quick succession — the Jay Z-featuring “Drunk in Love” and the Terry Richardson-directed “XO” — and now a third has hit the Internet. Drake’s October’s Very Own blog posted the clip for “Mine,” which features Drizzy of course. Seen above, the Pierre Debusschere short opens on Beyoncé looking a bit like the Virgin Mary in the middle of a Grecian tableau. Later, we head to the beach (still no sign of that “surfbort,” though) for a fiery collision of modern dance and tribal wilding.

Afterwards, check out SPIN’s Complete Guide to Understanding the 44 Names in Beyonce’s ‘Beyonce’ Credits, which breaks down the directors, guests, producers, and songwriters that appear therein. Meanwhile, our hostess has begun to share her own behind-the-scenes:
