Watch Justin Timberlake Perform Bell Biv DeVoe’s ‘Poison’

Justin Timberlake’s The 20/20 Experience 2 of 2 may have inspired us to long nostalgically for the days of the first 20/20 Experience, and that literally dragging “TKO” video didn’t do the dude any favors, but the “Holy Grail”-holding singer travelled back in time much further for his Brooklyn show at Barclays on Wednesday night. With a little help from his Tennessee Kids band — a whole lot of sing-along from the crowd — JT performed Bell Biv DeVoe’s 1990 New Jack Swing classic, “Poison,” a song whose lineage has everything to do with inspiring the late-’90s boy band boom that launched ‘N Sync. The fan-shot clip above captures the performance best, but the one below has a great angle for the inevitable dance routine. Which, by the way … the guy’s still got it.
