Odd Future offshoot MellowHigh plans to drop its self-titled debut album on October 31, but first comes the official music video for piano-looping single “Yu.” Directed by the trio (which is composed of OFWGKTA members Hodgy Beats, Domo Genesis, and producer Left Brain), the clip relies on a three-way split-screen to catch the men of MellowHigh in their free time. Domo hosts a daytime dance party in his living room, Left Brain barbecues in his backyard while a bikini-clad woman bounces on a trampoline behind him, and Hodgy (weirdly) stays busy pacing his house, fiddling with boxing gloves, and preparing a roasted pig’s head. Not quite as manic or revealing as Tyler, the Creator’s recent “Tamale” video, but, then again, few things are. Spend the day with MellowHigh by hitting the play button above.
