Kendrick Lamar Slams Meek Mill in Front of Thousands of Fans

Kendrick Lamar and Meek Mill are caught in a war of the words after Lamar called out the Philadelphia MC onstage during a concert in Brooklyn on Tuesday night (September 10). Playing a show in front of thousands at Williamsburg Park, K.Dot took aim at Mill while performing “m.A.A.d city,” the half-title track off of his already classic good kid, m.A.A.d city LP.

“I been doing this shit for years, I mastered this shit,” Lamar said to the audience. “I have no time for irrelevant niggas [or] new niggas.” He continued, making reference to Mill’s recent single “Levels,” saying: “There’s one that need to know there’s really ‘levels’ to this shit… I’m motherfucking king Kendrick.” Watch some footage of the public dis above.

Mill quickly responded in a series of tweets, writing, “King of what? Somebody please tell me.” The Maybach Music Group member then went on to retweet his dismissal, posting, “Let me RT @MeekMill: King of what? @kendricklamar.”

This most recent exchange comes days after the release of “Ooh Kill Em,” Mill’s “Forgot About Dre”-lifting response track to Lamar’s “Control” verse, in which the Compton rapper infamously declared himself the “King of New York” and incited beef with pretty much every MC alive, including Mill, who was named specifically. Mill had previously teased “Ooh Kill Em” by dropping a dis track that was directed at fellow Philly talent Cassidy but titled “Kendrick You Next.”
