Hot Chip's Joe Goddard tacks lengthy remix onto four-track set

Black Orange Juice recently spilled a portion of their upcoming 3 Started Alone EP with “Started in Paris,” a disco-decorated house track that comes adorned with R&B voice-work. Now, star producer Ossie (Hyperdub, 20/20 Vision) and singers Tillz and Paul Black (both childhood friends of the U.K. beatsmith) have shared the full four-track set ahead of its official September 23 release.

“Whether it’s disco, house, funky, garage, or something else, through our parents, uncles, cousins, and now ourselves, all three of us have grown up learning the history of dance music, and even hearing it created, as scenes came and went,” Tillz says in an official statement. “So this has become our dream, we’ve always wanted to make people want to move, and to move people.”

Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard also contributes a thumping, rubbery remix of “I Don’t Know” to the collection, which is on the way thanks to True Panther Sounds
