Sleepy Sun’s fourth album is set to arrive early next year, but first, the San Francisco five-piece will issue a 7-inch vinyl featuring “11:32,” a shape-shifting mess of psych-garage slime. Powered by motoring guitar and coated with layers of scuzzy distortion, the track regularly detours from frenzied proto-punk loops to meaty, muscular riffage, and still finds time for a wah-wah-warped midsection. The song officially drops on October 15 via Dine Alone Records, but you can stream it right now, right here at SPIN.
