Stream Distortion Mirrors’ New Wavy Explosion ‘Prom Queen’

Pair's first full-length available now on digital retailers

Distortion Mirrors started in 2011 as the solo bedroom project of synth-worshipper Luke Worle, but later expanded to include guitarist and multi-instrumentalist Josiah Brooks. Since then, the Los Angeles-based duo has issued a demo (Silver Rocket), an EP (Circle of Wolves), and recorded their full-length debut (Zeros and Kings), which hit Amazon earlier this week and landed on iTunes today. The eight-track LP comes equipped with “Prom Queen,” a fuzzy hip-shaker that lines quiet-loud dynamics with New Wave glee.
