Following their crystal-enhanced video for “Iodine,” When Saints Go Machine are shifting focus to the type of people who are often named after rare gems. What the Danish electro-pop four-piece has lost in terms of the effects they’ve more than made up for with strippers in the new clip for “System of Unlimited Love.” The icy track from May’s Infinity Pool gets brought to life by a quintet of exotic dancers who pole-dance in unison (though on separate poles as is consistent with the laws of both hygiene and physics). The effect is creepier than it is erotic, as the strippers occasionally stare into the camera with a lifeless expressions (as they are wont to do) while the band sings, “No one to save your soul.” Yeesh. But hey, much respect to the choreography. Check it out above, if you’re somewhere private.
