Tropic of Cancer Haunts With Hazy Electro Pulser ‘More Alone’

tropic of cancer, more alone

Tropic of Cancer, a.k.a. gloom-pop goddess Camella Lobo, will release her debut studio album on September 23 via Blackest Ever Black. Before Restless Idylls arrives, though, the Los Angeles auteur will drop a special 7-inch version of LP cut “More Alone” in August. Produced by Karl O’Connor (a.k.a. house usurper Regis) and streaming below courtesy of Brooklyn Vegan, the mix runs on a haunting combination of hazy electro pulse and lockstep drum beats. Unfortunately for those just arriving, the label has already sold all 300 copies of the limited-edition single. Pre-orders of Restless Idylls in CD and double-LP formats are available here and here. Scroll further for the full-length’s track list and Tropic of Cancer’s upcoming tour dates.
