Pearl Jam Play Frantic ‘Mind Your Manners’ for the First Time

pearl jam, mind your manners

Pearl Jam previewed their fall North American arena tour with a gig in London, Ontario last night (July 16). The Seattle icons treated fans to roughly 30 songs, including the first-ever live performance of “Mind Your Manners,” the lead single off upcoming album Lightning Bolt. As seen above, the grunge survivors tore through the sharp-toothed track, with Eddie Vedder delivering a sweaty, frenzied vocal take.

Chicago-area fans will have a chance to see the song firsthand on July 19 when PJ occupy Wrigley Field, much to the pleasure of Vedder, a lifelong Cubs fan. After that show, the diamond-certified grunge survivors will get back on the road on October 11, kicking off a continent-spanning tour in support of LP number 10, which arrives October 15 via Monkeywrench/Republic Records. Pre-orders of Lightning Bolt in digital, CD, and vinyl formats are currently available via iTunes and Pearl Jam’s official website.
