Mac Miller Goes Minimal in Dreamy ‘I Am Who I Am (Killin’ Time)’ Video
Light bulbs, cigarettes, and a pretty girl underwater highlight introspective trip
Much has been made of the maturity Mac Miller shows on his acclaimed Watching Movies With the Sound Off, and it’s best exemplified on the contemplative track “I Am Who I Am (Killin’ Time).” Now Mac has released a laid back, introspective video, featuring the Pittsburgh rapper performing the song barefoot in a bulb-filled room. Adding to the chill vibes are visuals of a young woman in a white dress (for a wedding? prom?), floating underwater to accentuate the backing vocals of Niki Randa.
It’s a dreamy clip, and Mac gives off the look of a young man rethinking his life after a few joints. Check it out above and don’t forget — Mac Miller is cool now.
