The Spinto Band have been recording together since the ’90s, but the power-pop vets venture even farther back for their newest video. As seen above, the clip for “Amy + Jen” — a delirious, tightly arranged highlight off this year’s Cool Cocoon — packs in a rush of vintage visuals. Neon colors, arcade game text, and sprite images of guitars flash across the screen while the Delaware outfit sprints through the peppy ode to discovering a new favorite band. “I feel like it’s been forever since I’ve been impressed,” goes the chorus, “And I’ve been starting to think it never would happen, I guess.” Think again.
