Potty Mouth hail from Northampton, Massachusetts, the fabled stomping grounds of Dinosaur Jr. and the impact of those hulking gnarlmeisters can certainly be heard. Singer-guitarist Abby Weems and her ladies-in-shred are prepping a debut album called Hell Bent for a September 17 release, and it looks to be chock-full of bent strings, loose grooves, and sour vocals — alt-rock excellence, in other words. Below you can hear the freshly debuted cut, “The Spins,” a tasty collision of all the aforementioned ingredients with a little bit of that old C86 sweetness thrown in for good measure.
