Paul McCartney is set to give a Must-See performance at Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival this weekend, but first the ex-Beatle decided to hijack The Colbert Report for an hour-long episode last night (June 12). Macca sat down for an interview with Stephen Colbert to discuss the Fab Four’s career arc, why they decided to stop performing live, the early days of Wings, and how to properly pronounce “schedule.” After the quick Q&A, Sir Paul played six songs: the Beatles’ “I’ve Just Seen a Face,” “Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite!,” and “Lady Madonna,” plus Wings’ “Hi, Hi, Hi” and “Listen to What the Man Said.” The moombahton-loving icon also ran through a web-exclusive rendition of The White Album‘s “Birthday,” dedicated to “anyone who has a birthday during the entire year.”
