Merchandise Induce (More) Nausea in Deeply Unsettling ‘Totale Nite’ Video

merchandise, totale nite

Last month, SPIN Breaking Out bros Merchandise released “Rush of Blood,” an uncomfortable short film created as a visual companion to the Florida art-punks‘ latest release, the chaotic Totale Nite. Now, the nightmare-prog pushers have turned up the crazy in the just-released video for the album’s title track. The band directed the eight-minute clip, which cuts up live performance footage and swirls it all together to form a shaky, too-close-for-comfort cocktail. Watch disembodied heads, guitar necks, saxophone keys, and insects crowd the camera above. At least they spared the slug this time. In need of a palate-cleanser? That 10-minute clip of the band playing “Become What You Are” on a rooftop should do the trick. Merchandise are currently on the road and playing Louisville tonight.
