Chris Brown’s Hit-and-Run Charge Could Send Him to Jail

Chris Brown Hit Run Charged Jail Drivers License

Not to be outdone by Justin Bieber, Chris Brown has been charged with a hit-and-run stemming from a May 21 car accident in Los Angeles. He allegedly failed to provide his contact information after rear-ending another motorist with his Range Rover. He is also being taken to task for driving without a valid license. As Brown is still on probation for assaulting Rihanna in 2009, he could do six months behind bars if he is convicted of the offenses.

The news comes via Hollywood Reporter, who cite spokesman Frank Mateljan of the L.A. city attorney’s office. Yesterday (June 24), Huffington Post reported that Brown had been accused of injuring a 24-year-old woman in an Orange County nightclub following his concert in Anaheim, California. His representatives have since strongly denied his having committed any wrongdoing, adding that “the patron caused the physical harm to herself in her belligerent state.”

Brown should know a thing or two about hurting his own damned self.
