Hear Lemuria Threaten a Famous Glass Sculptor on Smashing ‘Chihuly’

lemuria, chihuly, the distance is so big

Lemuria caught our ears last month with “Brilliant Dancer,” a piano-plinked single off the Buffalo punks’ upcoming The Distance Is So Big LP, and now the post-hardcore trio have shared another hooky track called “Chihuly.” The title reads like a reference to glass sculptor Dale Chihuly, particularly when drummer Alex Kerns cues the chorus by singing, “Shattering Chihuly.” The real star here though is guitarist Sheena Ozzella, whose sweetened vocals deliver the simple but alluring line, “My interior weather / Aurora borealis.”

The Distance Is So Big arrives June 18 via Bridge Nine Records. Pre-orders can be placed here.
