Domino Records just dropped its Dirty Projectors remix 12-inch, featuring three reworked versions of Swing Lo Magellan‘s subtly stunning “The Socialites,” each done by Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard, FaltyDL, and AlunaGeorge, respectively. We already heard Goddard’s four-on-the-floor remake of the Amber Coffman-voiced track, and now we’ve got AlunaGeorge’s sparkling take. The London electro-R&B duo adorn the wobbly song with shimmering chimes, hiccup effects, and fat-bottomed bounce. Stream it below.
AlunaGeorge’s debut full-length, Body Music, has reportedly been pushed back two weeks from July 1 to July 15 (via Pitchfork).
