Watch Ski Lodge Infiltrate a Suicide Cult in ‘Just to Be Like You’ Video

Brooklyn quartet's deceptively sad song paired with doomy clip

Ski Lodge’s latest single may be titled “Just to Be Like You,” but the glistening jangler’s just-released video might as well be a PSA about the dangers of groupthink. The outdoorsy clip, directed by Ian Perlman and Ted Greenberg, hones in on a hood-wearing cult; we sit in on a red wine-drenched feast and experience a too-close-to-drowning baptismal thanks to a new pledge who has clearly been coaxed by his girlfriend into joining. Luckily, by the time the suicide portion of the night arrives, our hero realizes the Kool-Aid has been laced with poison.
