Hear El-P and Killer Mike Return as Run the Jewels on Lacerating ‘Get It’

The pairing of Brooklyn indie-rap luminary El-P and Atlanta revolutionist Killer Mike proved to be one of the most fruitful endeavors of last year, with Mike’s El-P produced album R.A.P. Music clocking in as SPIN’s second best rap album of 2012. It was a career revitalization for two respected artists who had nonetheless fallen out of the spotlight. Thankfully, though, the duo are too smart to waste a great thing, and have formed a group called Run the Jewels that will release a yet-untitled free album in June before a U.S. tour in July and August.
