Paramore Whirl With Ballerinas in Exuberant ‘Still Into You’ Video

Paramore, "Still Into You," video

Paramore’s self-titled album is out today, and as our reviewer Theon Weber wrote, recalling that frontwoman Hayley Williams sometimes wears a “BEWARE OF YOU” shirt: “Listen to it and see if you don’t feel like you have to beware of yourself a little less.” At 17 tracks and more than an hour in length, it’s a varied album that rewards repeat listens, but “Still Into You,” which Williams correctly hopes is “not a sappy love song,” makes an irrepressibly catchy entry point. The Tennessee band has already shared a lyric video for the song and performed an unplugged version, and the just-released, full video carries over the song’s delirious jouissance, albeit in the context of a childlike fantasy. This time Williams is wearing a “DWEEB” shirt; there are balloons, ballerinas, bikes indoors. And, of course, fireworks.
