Cold War Kids dropped their fourth studio album, Dear Miss Lonelyhearts, yesterday (April 2), and to celebrate the occasion, the California rockers performed two cuts from the new LP on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night. “Miracle Mile” hustles forward with percussive piano and falsetto vocals, while “Loner Phase” comfortably grooves along, riding a chunky bass line. Frontman Nathan Willett’s vocal sounded strained and wild on the outdoor stage, underservicing both songs.
