Watch Captain Murphy’s Very Grimm ‘The Killing Joke’ Video

Flying Lotus' cartoon equivalent hints at new "V" release

Captain Murphy, a.k.a. the villainous cartoon rap version of Flying Lotus, has shared a new video for his Batman-referencing Duality mixtape standout “The Killing Joke.” The dark clip shows a woman drifting through a snowy forest seemingly plucked from the world of Grimm. Meanwhile, the dastardly MC appears as a hooded figure whose few visible features appear as animated exaggerations. The Captain had shared a visual for the song way back in September, so SPIN reached out to him for comment. Predictably, he kept his answer short and ended on a riddle: “This was a fan made video so good I had to make it official,” he wrote. “Be on the look out for ‘V’ this fall.” We don’t yet know what “V” stands for yet, but the evil toon did recently share this Vine clip sporting the letter in question:
