Watch McLovin Battle a Cult in Unknown Mortal Orchestra’s ‘So Good at Being in Trouble’ Video

Nothing says “release date” like “McLovin.” Portland/New Zealand’s Unknown Mortal Orchestra drop their second album II today and they’re celebrating with a new video for “So Good at Being in Trouble,” starring Christopher Mintz-Plasse of Superbad fame. In the video, a goateed, eyeglasses-less CM-P stars as a dude who sees a former flame dancing in Venice Beach with some neo-hippie cult. He attempts to break the girl out of the cult’s spell and the lecherous grasps of their Manson-esque leader, but McLovin is ultimately unsuccessful. We think. The video ends ambiguously. Either way, the video from ODDSAC director Danny Perez works well with this AM Golden cut off UMO’s II.
