EDM superstars David Guetta, Avicii, Bassnectar, Calvin Harris, and more have joined the lineup for Miami’s newly ultra-sized Ultra Music Festival, according to an official announcement (and the above video) released today (January 4). The six-day showcase, which is spread over the weekends of March 15-17 and March 22-24, has also locked down DJ sets from Armin van Buuren, Tiësto, Fatboy Slim, and Swedish House Mafia, whose opening and closing performances will be the trio’s last together. Previously announced headliner Deadmau5 (and noted critic of Ultra Fest despite playing the 2011 edition) will lead a lineup of live performances from Crystal Castles, Hot Chip, Yeasayer, Matt and Kim, and more. A second wave of performers will be announced in the coming weeks.

The full lineup for the 15th annual Ultra Music Festival Miami (as of now) includes: Above & Beyond; Afrojack; Armin van Buuren; Avicii; Bassnectar; Calvin Harris; Carl Cox; David Guetta; Fatboy Slim; Kaskade; Knife Party; Richie Hawtin; Swedish House Mafia; Tiësto; the Bloody Beetroots; Booka Shade; Boys Noize; Crystal Castles; Deadmau5; Disclosure; DJ Fresh; Hot Chip; Major Lazer; Matt and Kim; Modestep; Rudimental; Thievery Corporation; and Yeasayer.

The Phase 1 performers were originally announced on flyers dropped in major U.S. cities over New Year’s weekend as part of a contest for fans (via the festival’s Facebook page). Anyone that posted a picture of the flyer on Twitter with @ultramusic tagged is eligible to win a pair of General Assembly three-day tickets, which currently fetch $299.95 on the festival’s website.

Earlier this year, the EDM extravaganza expanded to have an international brand, “UMF Worldwide,” which now has Ultra installments booked in seven countries across four continents: UMF Miami (March 15-17, March 22-24), UMF Bueno Aires (February 19 and 23), UMF Chile (February 22-23), UMF Brasil (TBD), UMF Ibiza (TBD), UMF Europe (July 12-14 in Croatia), and UMF Korea (TBD). Full lineups for the international shows have not yet been announced, but Avicii, Armin van Buuren, and Carl Cox are among those committed to Chile, Buenos Aires, and Europe, while Afrojack, Knife Party, Marco Carola, DJ Umek, Nina Kraviz, Hardwell, Martin Solveig, and Dash Berlin will drop by Chile and Beunos Aires.
