If you missed the Killers’ new holiday single yesterday, today you can buy it on iTunes, and the Vegas arena rockers have shared a video that’s the ideal way to experience the song. Directed by Robert Schober, who also recently oversaw Green Day’s charming “Stray Heart” clip, the video brings to life the murderous, motorcycle-riding Santa Claus from the single artwork, accompanied by foggy performance footage. It’s a clever, playful, spirited clip for a song that’s a bit like a twisted holiday variation on Bon Jovi’s “Livin’ on a Prayer.” Once again, all proceeds from the single go to benefit (RED) organization’s AIDS-fighting efforts, so this naughty Saint Nick turns out to be mighty nice, after all.
