Eminem’s New Video, Ja Rule to Jail + More

  • Eminem and Royce da 5’9″ are teaming up for the first time in ten years for the new Bad Meets Evil album Hell: The Sequel, out June 13. The duo have dropped an insane video for single “Fast Lane,” which gets beefed up with all sorts of crazy animated effects. Check it out.
  • Ja Rule has been sentenced to two years in jail after pleading guilty to attempted criminal possession of a weapon. The 35-year-old rapper was arrested in New York in 2007 after police found a semi-automatic weapon in his car. Ja Rule’s lawyer says he will likely serve a maximum of 20 months with good behavior and the rapper is still expected to release his new album, Pain Is Love 2, this summer. [The Guardian]
