New Jersey post-hardcore vets Thursday are touring the U.S. in support of No Devolución, their sixth and most experimental album yet, and the band have been documenting their travels for SPIN.com. Here, check out photographer Dave Summers' gorgeous back-and-white pics, with captions from frontman Geoff Rickly.

Says Rickly of the scene above: "Five minutes before the show we congregate, joke around, tease each other, and generally make a ritual out of our pre-show anxiety."(From left: guitarist Tom Keeley, touring bassist Lukas Previn, guitarist Steve Pedulla.)

3. We Are One

3/12

"Me and the kids just hanging out," says Rickly.

4. On Repeat

4/12

"Every day on tour is the same day," says Rickly (left) with guitarist Keeley. "Sometimes the day is good; sometimes the day is bad."

5. Grub Time

5/12

"This is our sound engineer, John Harris (left), as he demolishes the Big Texan 72oz. Steak Challenge in 37 minutes," says Rickly. "9,000 calories. A real winner."

6. Sign of the Devil

6/12

Drummer Tucker Rule on "day one of our tour with Underoath," says Rickly. "Tucker is obviously resisting."

7. Heavenly Skies

7/12

"This is keyboardist Andrew Everding's reflection in the giant black inverted cross on the ceiling of our bus," explains Rickly. "There are sparkly lights on it, so we're pretty sure we won't go to hell."

8. Sneak Preview

8/12

A few lucky concertgoers got the royal treatment from Thursday: "Here's Steve playing some of our new record, No Devolución, for some of our fans on the bus before the show."

9. Takin' Care of Business

9/12

"So much of the tour is about upkeep," explains Rickly. "Here Tom gives his amp a little attention before we start the set."

10. Switching Roles

10/12

"Here's our keyboard player Andrew having some sort of existential crisis," jokes Rickly. "Put the guitar down. We already know you can play anything."

11. Silent Treatment

11/12

"My voice was gone all day," explains Rickly. "I didn't speak one word until I hit the stage."

12. In the Moment

12/12

"Every so often, the rest of the world disappears and you're left with your band," Rickly says of performing live with Thursday. "You can't see the crowd or even hear what you're playing. You just have each other."
