LISTEN: Lil Wayne’s Green Bay Packers Anthem!

Lil Wayne may hail from New Orleans, home of 2010 Super Bowl champs the Saints, but when it comes to cheering on his favorite team — he’s a bonafide cheesehead.

This Sunday, the Green Bay Packers will go head-to-head again the Pittsburgh Steelers for the championship, and Wayne just released a new fight song to help lead his team to victory. Listen to “Green and Yellow” over at his blog.

Weezy’s anthem is a spin on“Black and Yellow,” Pittsburgh rapper Wiz Khalifa’s fight song for his home team. And it worked: Khalifa performed the song before the AFC Championship Game, when the Steelers went on to beat the Jets to secure the Super Bowl spot.

On Weezy’s version, the former jailbird spits about his fandom of the Packers: “I’m from New Orleans but I’ve been a Packers fan…” he rhymes. He even jabs at Khalifa, “I’m a cheesehead, y’all niggas Cheez Whiz.”

Will Lil Wayne’s “Green and Yellow” lead the Packers to victory? Or will Khalifa’s “Black and Yellow” prevail? Tell us in the comment section.
