Nicki Minaj Dominates ‘Saturday Night Live’

Nicki Minaj made her first appearance on Saturday Night Live this weekend, but the female rapper did more than just perform two standard songs. She also brought her acting chops to the skit “Bride of Blackenstein” and the digital short “The Creep.” Watch it all below.

In “Bride of Blackenstein” – a mash-up spoof of blaxploitation films and B movies like Bride of Frankenstein – Minaj plays a smart-mouthed Frankenbride who gets attention for her notoriously ample backside, which gets described as a “masterpiece of modern times.” Minaj also scored with her guest appearance in Lonely Island’s new short “The Creep,” which featured her bespectacled geek character getting down with a team of nerdy peeping toms.

But Minaj’s musical performances offered plenty of visual eye-candy, too. During “Moment 4 Life,” she prowled across the stage wearing her Frankenbride wig and a dangerously skin-tight cat suit, while “Right Thru Me” featured her performing in a crazily poofy dress amidst smoke machines. Nice!

Minaj wasn’t SNL‘s only extra special guest. Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg joined cast member Andy Samberg and host Jesse Eisenberg — who played Zuckerberg in the blockbuster film The Social Network — for their hilarious opening monologue. Watch below!
