Cuomo’s New Book, Britney LP Due in March + More

  • In March, Rivers Cuomo will release The Pinkerton Diaries — his collection of journal entries from Weezer’s Pinkerton era — plus his third installment of his Alone home recordings. In the video below, Cuomo offers a sneak peek at the book, which features hand-written entries and sheet music. “Very heavy indeed,” he says.


    Britney Spears‘ still-untitled seventh album will be released on March 15, Spears’ label Jive confirmed. The album will feature “multiple songs” from songwriters Max Martin and Dr. Luke, plus cuts by Bloodshy & Avant, Rodney Jerkins, and Stargate. [MTV]

  • Kings of Leon will postpone their March tour of Australia and South Africa after drummer Nathan Followill underwent surgery. “My bum wing needs more time to heal,” he stated via Twitter. Dates will be rescheduled for later this year.
