Like the album itself, the videos from M.I.A.’s boggling opus MAYA have been a chaotic mix, from the military-themed, ginger-murdering “Born Free” to the slick, sexy “XXXO.”
Now comes “Story to Be Told,” a computer-animated clip whose hypnotic graphics riff off her album artwork with images of “CAPTCHA” fields, i.e. those words entered when submitting information on websites that prove we’re human, and not spambots. But be warned: The way these graphics undulate onscreen might cause some to lose their lunch.
