A Guide to Austin City Limits Afterparties!

The Austin City Limits festival might have a 10 P.M. curfew, but the party keeps going well into to the night! Numerous pre- and post-festival concerts are scheduled with a plethora of SPIN approved acts, including the Strokes, the Black Keys, Spoon, and a host of others. Here’s a quick breakdown:

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 6:

Who: The Strokes
What: New York City’s own continue their comeback with a live spot as the first Official ACL pre-party.This one is already sold out.

What: Alan Palomo’s chillwave outfit Neon Indian and the experimental hip-hop of Scott Herren’s Prefuse 73 bring the beats to this pre-party. Miniature Tigers open.

What: Multi-instrumentalist Andrew Cohen aka Mayer Hawthorne and his backing band The County hits the stage for a festival after party with their soul-soaked grooves. King’s Go Forth open the show.
