Band of Horses new video for “Laredo,” a single from their latest album Infinite Arms, is a mysterious tale of lost love in the California desert, with singer-guitarist Ben Bridwell as narrator. Watch below!
Shot in Pioneertown, CA (not Laredo!), the video features a collage of video desert scenes — open highways, cacti, mountains, stars — that accompany a loose plot about a man seeking his lost love, a woman in a bright red sundress. Footage of the quintet playing the melancholy track at local watering hole “Pappy and Harriet’s” is intercut.
“Oh, my love / Are you really gone?” Bridwell sings.
