British producer extraordinaire Mark Ronson will collaborate with Santigold, Scissor Sisters, Miike Snow, and others on his upcoming album, The Business, set to be released sometime later this year.

Unlike his 2007 breakthrough Version, on which Ronson crafted stylish, brassy covers of songs by Britney Spears, Radiohead, and Coldplay, the new record will consist of all original material — and no horns.

Ronson, whose masterpiece is Amy Winehouse’s Back to Black, has been writing with Dave McCabe of the Zutons and Nick Hodgson of Kaiser Chiefs. “It’s written with some of the people that actually wrote the songs I covered on the last album and that I didn’t actually even know at the time,” Ronson tells NME.

Santigold, who appeared on Version’s cover ofthe Jam’s “Pretty Green,” adds vocals to The Business, as do British dance singer/songwriter Cathy Dennis — remember her hit 1991 single “Just Another Dream”? — Atlanta rapper Pill, disco-poppers Scissor Sisters, and electro-popsters Miike Snow.
