During Pearl Jam’s gig at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire Tuesday night, the Seattle alt-rockers treated 2000 lucky fans to a pair of surprises: a brand new acoustic song and a cameo from Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood, who joined the five-piece onstage for a rousing rendition of Bob Dylan’s “All Along the Watchtower.” Watch below!

The intimate concert — a warm-up for the band’s first European jaunt in two years — saw frontman Eddie Vedder take the stage solo with an acoustic guitar during the encore to play “The End,” the final tune on the band’s upcoming album Backspacer (out Sept. 20). Earlier, Wood joined the full band for “All Along the Watchtower,” channeling Jimi Hendrix’s famous version of the tune as he traded guitar solos with Mike McCready.

The band will support Backspacer with a full U.S. tour, kicking off in their hometown September 21.
