Chris Brown has already told everyone that he “ain’t a monster.” But it seems Brown wants to be absolutely sure he gets the message across: He’s featured in a new song by Brooklyn hip-hop artist Maino called “Don’t Be Scared.”

“They tell you that I’m no good for you / They try to paint me to be a monster / Don’t trust what your friends say / You can’t believe ’em when they tell you that I’m crazy,” Maino raps, while Brown jumps in to help out, repeatedly singing the title line, “Don’t be scared,” in the background.

Well, that should just set everyone’s mind at ease.

In related news: Maino is also the guy behind the Alex Da Kid-produced “Role Model” tune, the one with the lyric: “I’m bad company / Don’t look up to me.” Oooppppsss!

Listen to “Don’t Be Scared” below. Then tell us if you think Brown is a monster in the comment section.
