SPIN.com Concert: Manchester Orchestra Unplugged

Up-and-coming Atlanta quintet Manchester Orchestra are making a name for themselves with a raucous guitar sound that’sdeepened by frontman Andy Hull’s emotional lyrics and tender vocals (check out “I Was a Lid” for proof). Hull’s recent solo acoustic performance at SPIN’s NYC office treated some 25 staffers to the band’s softer side.

Below, check out video of Hull performing “I’ve Got Friends,” “My Friend Marcus,” “100 Dollars,” and “I Can Feel A Hot One” from Manchester Orchestra’s forthcoming second full-length (and major-label debut), Mean Everything to Nothing (out April 21).
