Foo Fighters, Oasis Top Toronto’s V-Fest Bill; Robyn Maps North American Tour

Foo Fighters and Oasis will headline the 2008 installment of Toronto’s Virgin Fest, slated to hit the city’s Island Park Sept. 6-7. Also on the bill: Bloc Party, Paul Weller, Spiritualized, Constantines, Stereophonics, and the Weakerthans. More international and Canadian acts will be added to the lineup in the coming months. In support of the much-overdue U.S. release of her 2005 self-titled album, out April 29, Swede songstress Robyn has mapped a 10-date North American tour, set to kick off in Boston April 29 and wrap in Los Angeles May 17. She’s also on the bill for New Jersey’s All Points West, August 8-10.

Brit sensation Does it Offend You, Yeah? will head stateside this spring to satiate fans’ growing desire for the quartet’s electro-rock tunes, and stir interest behind forthcoming debut, You Have No Idea What You’re Getting Yourself Into. Tampa’s punk, crunk, and hip-hop duo Yo Majesty will open all dates.
