It’s a hard-knock life for Coldplay: They’ve been in Spain for months, recording in cathedrals alongside producer Brian Eno and infusing the country’s “sights, sounds, and flavors” into the follow up to 2005’s X&Y. Now, with the rioja and paella digested, the band has announced a June 17 release date for the fittingly titled Viva La Vida, Billboard.com reports. ¡Olé!

Although a tracklisting for the new effort has yet to be revealed, a March 19 band website post by Chris Martin says the band was “finalizing the tracklist today (March 19).”

Currently, Coldplay has just one North American date scheduled, at Canada’s Pemberton Music Festival, slated for July 25-27 in the mountainous city outside Vancouver, B.C.
