Well, apparently the brainy fivesomeunderestimated the gravity of their newfound and innovative marketingscheme, and a few more Radiohead-heads than projected showed up andsubsequently jammed the site. “It’s getting busy in there — busierthan they expected,” guitarist Jonny Greenwood wrote to theband’s website. “So, if you please bear with us, it should get clearedout soon,” he continued. “I sound like a bouncer. Get behind the rope.No denim. Thanks for your patience with the site + interest in therecord.”
Pipettes Announce Reschedule North American Dates
Though the Brit songbirds announced the postponement of the bulk of their North American tour just yesterday, the Pipetteshave already conquered this “delay in visa paperwork,” now surfacingwith freshly rescheduled dates in hand. The 17-date outing, now set toroll out Oct. 25 in Los Angeles, will hit East Coast cities such asToronto, New York, and Boston — originally slated to preface thePipettes’ West Coast tour leg — following gigs in cities like SanFrancisco, Portland, and Seattle.
