Watch Band of Horses Live!

In what was likely the most sought-after performance to grace Brooklyn’s McCarren Park Pool this summer, frontman Ben Bridwell and his Band of Horses saddled up on a hot July afternoon to roll out a set chock full of guitar-centric material, both old and new, unto a vast and festive crowd. Striding through reverb drenched standards like “Great Salt Lake” and “The Funeral,” both cuts from 2006’s debut LP Everything All the Time, Band of Horses also churned out an eyebrow-raising cover of Ronnie Wood’s “Act Together” and offered a glimpse of the outfit’s forthcoming album Cease to Begin with Bridwell’s gaunt vocals and dreamy guitar renderings on “Is There a Ghost.” Scroll down and watch exclusive video of each tune for yourself, and be sure to check back throughout the summer for live performances from Illinois, Annuals, Blonde Redhead, Ted Leo and the Pharmacists, and more from the Pool Parties!
