Tour Updates: Free Yr Radio, John Vanderslice

As previously reported, Urban Outfitters and Toyota have tapped an impressive list of acts, including Klaxons, The Ponys, Voxtrot, and Dinosaur Jr., to benefit independent and college radio stations. And now, a few more equally striking bands have been added to the list; Grizzly Bear, Sonic Youth, Dntel, and El-P will all now descend upon Urban Outfitters clothing store across the country and get their musical groove on amidst shoppers, fans, and heaps of hip clothing. On July 12, Grizzly Bear will hit Cleveland’s Urban Outfitters for a 30-minute set, while on July 14 El-P will descend the staircase at the store’s Avenue of the Americas location in Manhattan. Finally, on July 21, Dntel will offer a DJ set to prep crowds for Sonic Youth’s performance in Santa Monica.

7/12, Cleveland, OH (Grizzly Bear/benefiting WBWC 88.3 FM)
7/14, New York, NY (El-P/benefiting WNHU 88.7 FM)
7/21, Santa Monica, CA (Sonic Youth and Dntel/benefiting KXLU 88.9 FM)
