Kings of Leon, Art Brut Join Bumbershoot

Kings of Leon, Art Brut, Ted Leo and the Pharmacists, Gym Class Heroes, Gomez’s Ian Ball, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Andrew Bird, and the Frames are among bands added to the bill of Seattle’s 37th annual Bumbershoot Music & Arts Festival, slated to hit the Northwest city’s center and surround the Space Needle for three days, Sept. 1-3. The recent additions, also including Joss Stone, Sean Paul, the Damnwells, Bouncing Souls, My Brightest Diamond, Seaweed, the Watson Twins, and Stars of Track and Field, will join previously announced performing acts such as the Shins, Wu-Tang Clan, Panic! at the Disco, Crowded House, Lupe Fiasco, DeVotchKa, Devendra Banhart, Gogol Bordello, Kill Hannah, Norma Jean, the Gourds, Lyrics Born, Roky Erickson & the Explosives, Magnolia Electric Company, and the Aggrolites. Additional acts will be announced in the coming weeks. Fans can purchase three-day passes now via bumbershoot.org for $75 thru Aug. 17 and $95 thereafter. Day passes selling for $30 will be available July 13 thru Aug. 17, and $35 thereafter.
