With the 2007 Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival just a week away, many soon-to-be concertgoers are crafting their lists of camping supplies and festival necessities. And if your checklist calls for bells, whistles, and more feng shui than duct tape, you could be rewarded for your efforts. Bonnaroo officials, in conjunction with Coleman camping supplies, are holding a contest to determine the camper with the best festival digs.
If you think your campsite is up to snuff, snap a photo and drop in to the Camping Center in Centeroo on Thursday (June 14) or Friday (June 15) of the festival. Officials representing both sponsors will sort through the contestants’ photos and whittle down the competition to a few winners. Prizes include a $500 Coleman gift certificate, tickets to Bonnaroo 2008, festival merchandise, and live Bonnaroo downloads. Competing campsites will be judged on a full range of factors, including functionality, aesthetics, comfort, and earth friendliness. So when you’re whipping out the tent, lawn chairs, and grill, remember to camp in style.
