View Frontman Hospitalized in Japan

Kyle Falconer, Scot outlaw and frontman of the View, has been admitted to a hospital in Japan where the quartet is currently on tour, due to complications with a blood infection. According to NME.com, the 19-year-old ragamuffin rocker has fallen ill with septicaemia, a serious medical condition caused when bacterium enters the blood stream, which likely penetrated Falconer’s system via a blister on his foot.

“He has been in and out of hospital and has been really ill with infections — particularly septicaemia,” NME.com reports a close Falconer pal told U.K.’s Mirror. “The medics kept him in overnight and he was given a course of antibiotics. But he has been warned to start looking after himself or he is going to end up very sick indeed.” A band spokesperson reportedly said, “Kyle should be back on his feet for their gigs next week.” Mr. Falconer, look on the bright side, at least the View has been granted entrance into Japan.
