Linkin Park Tap MCR, TBS for Projekt Revolution Tour

My Chemical Romance, Taking Back Sunday, and HIM as well as Placebo and Julien-K have been confirmed as headliners for the fourth installment of nu-metal heavyweight Linkin Park’s Projekt Revolution Tour. The summer outing, supporting the May 15 release of Linkin Park’s forthcoming third studio album Minutes to Midnight, will kick off July 25 at a yet-to-be determined location and tote supporting acts Mindless Self Indulgence, Saosin, the Bled, Styles of Beyond, and Madina Lake.

Next, the bands will head through California and hit Southwestern cities such as Phoenix and Dallas before logging gigs in Southern outposts like Atlanta, Charlotte, and Tampa. The Projekt Revolution tour will then cover the Eastern Seaboard and Midwest and finally conclude with a performance Sept. 3 in Englewood, CO. Tickets for the “green” tour will be available beginning May 19 via LiveNation.com. One dollar from each ticket sold will be donated to the American Forests campaign to fund their Global ReLeaf program to plant trees and reduce global temperatures.
